Surface Protection (Ceramic Coating)

Undrdog pro

When people think of the ultimate in paint protection, their mind goes to “ceramic coating.” I’ve been fortunate to be working with a company for the past couple of years called Undrdog. It’s a PTFE (Teflon) based coating, that gives superior water beading, chemical resistance, glossiness, and overall superior performance to the likes of ceramic coatings. I’m able to apply while being mobile, and it can be applied to all exterior and even interior parts of your vehicle (except fabric and tires). I’m a certified installer with Undrdog, feel free to contact me for more info or check the company out at getundrdog.com

Process of preparing for coating

I’ll lay out the process that I use to prepare the vehicle’s surface for the coating. First, I initially wash the entire vehicle top to bottom to remove all dirt and debris embedded into the paint, door jambs, wheels and tires. Next, I’ll use an iron decontaminant to remove embedded particles in the paint that we can’t see. After that I’ll use a clay bar to remove the rest of the embedded contaminants that we can’t see but can feel by running our fingers across the paint. Then comes a polish to remove swirls and scratches, because the coating will lock in the condition of the paint for 3+ years. Finally, I’ll use a wax and grease remover as a final prep, to give a perfectly clean surface to apply the coating.

the sauce

It will reduce your maintenance by at least 50% and protect your vehicle from incidents that occur through day to day driving like bird droppings, bug accumulation, acid rain and other things of that nature. A coating adds a layer of protection between your car and the elements. Pricing is on my services page, and please contact if you’re interested and we can discuss options!
